Jeff and I carried on a short conversation to find out my needs then he was ready to collect my information. I gave him my email. He stated he cannot give me a quote without an email address that's not connected to a business. To me instead of stating such he should have asked my website. He then said for me to get a quote they do background checks to find out if I'm credit worthy and worth their time. Excuse me! Not all businesses operate solely on credit. I actually have CBD/COD accounts. If they do not accept prepaid services he should politely relay that information not tell me I need to be found worthy. He'd never find out if I am worthy because I do not have a DUNS number.

We continued conversation and I told her that I need a quote for lumber and she asked me what is lumber. I was astonished! I told her it's building material and she was silent. Then I expressed it's hardwood flooring and she told me that I can speak with Jon Rogers. I told Nancy I'd prefer to speak with someone else because Jon Rogers is unresponsive (I emailed him twice which is why I called). She sort of pouted with frustration and told me I can speak with Jeff. I spoke with Jeff and he had the same mentality as Nancy with less attitude.

Don't pay by cc is my advise. The move was fairly smooth it'self. Driver was good. Unloading was efficient. Operationally and the move coordinator's efforts I have no problem.

No response on dispute of overcharge. When pay by CC they tack on 10% to cover extra weight. The load was .54% over the estimate but the refund for the overcharge of 775+ dollars was 10.52. No explanation no response to myself. The Federal Move Coordinator does respond and forward the requests and I appreciate that effort but the person handling the refund or transparency on the reasoning is noticeably absent.

Earlier this spring I purchased a GoldWing motorcycle from Family Powersports in Texas. I asked them to use a reputable firm to ship the motorcycle from Texas to Montana whereupon I would drive down from Calgary, Alberta to pickup my motorcycle. It took a month to get the bike to Montana and when I got there a few days after it arrived I was horrified at the damage to my bike!

I would suggest that you take your business elsewhere and do not use this company, it is obvious that they use drivers, handlers, etc who have NO idea about handling and shipping of a motorcycle and then they won't stand behind their poor service.

Firstly, the antennas were bent backwards and taped to the rear luggage rack! Why? I have no idea! Anyone who says they are familiar with shipping of motorcycles knows that since about 1980 that Goldwing antennas simply fold forward after you lift up on the base of the antenna! Then I noticed that the airwing under the mirror was broken off and in the trunk. I noticed deep gouges in the fairing and saddlebag, all on the left side, indicative of the bike having been dropped hard on the left side. I sent photos, I had the dealership call Federal/Allied and waited over a month for a reply that says they deny all responsibility of the claim because I took a few days to prepare and submit my claim!

P.S. I never had this problem with Southeastern so I definitely feel it was discrimination. They do not ask me for personal information such as DUNS for a quote. Not everyone has a DUNS. The process should be simple. Give a weight or square footage ship from and to location, and you're done!

I believe the way I was treated was to prevent me from being serviced. I am not sure why but I decided to do my own background check on this company and there's plenty of inappropriate comments by an employee. Search Engine Optimization was able to reveal the comments I read. Don't believe me, search yourself. I read a disgusting facebook comment by Jon Rogers. SEO listed this because the idiot actually put his job on a personal facebook profile.

Thank you

I have never experienced discriminating conduct pertaining business such as what I have experienced with this company. I called in for a quote due to me owning a building materials company. I pressed option "0" and was connected with Nancy. She was very condescending and informal. She asked me where I need pallets shipped I responded from GA to CA. She then reacted with, "What made you choose us!" I told her the company was in my google search (surprisingly). She said something along the line of we're in Illinois, there's plenty of freight lines. At this point I should had discounted and continued searching plenty other freight lines. Since Nancy wants to limit the company she's at to their current territory.

Great company
