Stayed here on our way through town. Very friendly host, took his time answering our questions about the town, things to do and places to eat. Huge pull through sites. Campground is right on the river. Super quiet and huge mature trees. We almost stayed another night we liked it so much. We were in a class A motor home with slides pulling a car. We had plenty of room!

This place is a hidden treasure! Loved our stay (36' 2017 keystone outback) easy in and out the river spots have million dollar views. About 2 miles up the road is an easy diesel fill up gas station. It was quiet. 50 amp hook up, good water pressure about 6 antenna channels.

Water, 50 amp electric, sewer with wifi... what a great deal. Now keep in mind this IS riverside so the park gets flooded by the Illinois River when it rains a ton. Weekdays are great and if you know where to look, you will find a unadvertised beach.

Owner was very nice. We took our boat and class A RV. Nice big lots very quiet and peaceful. All new paved roads to the camp ground. Gravel lots, new picnic tables, and full hook up. $35 a night 4th of July weekend! Water at sight was good not recommended for drinking though just like any other camp sight. Owners come pick up garbage daily so just had to set it out for them to pick up. Our spot was right next to the river. Beautiful scenery. Would definitely go back. Only downfall was river water was to low to launch boat but there were numerous places to launch boats not far from campground. Owner was very helpful and recommended a couple places. I would recommend the river for fishing boats or outboard motors. Our bow rider inboard motor did not like the murky conditions.

The internet could be a little better, and having a laundry onsite would be nice. Overall, the place is very clean and laid back. The staff are all very friendly and helpful as well. I would definitely recommend this place to others. The views near the water are awesome!
