I really enjoyed my breakfast. This place was referred to me and my friend. I was a little concerned but I enjoy my time at Mel's Cafe, good food, friendly service, descent prices.
Mel's is a wonderful diner that serves good food served by friendly waitresses. It is the most relaxing time of my day when I stop in for breakfast.
Breakfast is great. Portion size compared to price outstanding, especially the full sized skillet. I've seen people in suits and people in pajamas there, so come as you are and enjoy the best breakfast in central Illinois.
I love this place. Good is great with portions bigger than I can usually eat. Staff is very friendly and the coffee is always hot and fresh.
